You'll start to see ads for repaglinide, a new oralhypoglycemic for type 2 diabetes...from Novo Nordisk.
They're promoting it in the U.S. under the brand name, Prandin.But they'll probably use a different name in Canada...because"Prandin" is too similar to Prandase (acarbose).
Repaglinide is the first in a new class...the meglitinides.
