Ortho-McNeil is coming out with another quinolone antibiotic, Levaquin (levofloxacin).
It'll be out in the U.S. first...then Canada.
It's not really "new"...it's the levo isomer of ofloxacin. Ofloxacin (Floxin) consists of both the levo and dextro isomers.
