Duract (bromfenac) was on the U.S. market less than a year.It was never approved by HPB...but many Canadians crossed the borderto get this effective NSAID.

When the FDA pulled it, the HPB also issued a warning.

This NSAID worked well for acute pain, but got pulled becauseof reports of severe hepatic failure in patients who used Duract formore than 10 days or had pre-existing hepatic disease.
