With flu vaccinations in full swing, Health Canada is clarifying the risk of oculo-respiratory syndrome (ORS) with flu shots.

Flu shots can cause ORS usually 2 to 24 hours after vaccination.

Symptoms include facial swelling...red, itchy eyes...cough...wheezing...chest tightness...and sore throat. ORS is typically mild and goes away after 48 hours.
