protease inhibitor called Telzir
February 2005
You'll see a new protease inhibitor called Telzir.
Telzir (fosamprenavir) is marketed as Lexiva in the U.S.
Telzir is different than older protease inhibitors...it's a prodrug. It's metabolized to amprenavir (Agenerase) in the body.
