NovoMix 30 will be the first insulin ASPART mixture.

It contains 30% insulin aspart (NovoRapid) and 70% insulin aspart protamine. Protamine is bound to aspart to make it an intermediate-acting insulin...with similar activity to NPH insulin.

NovoMix 30 is comparable to Humalog Mix 25 (insulin lispro mixture). They both contain a rapid-acting insulin so they are faster-acting than Novolin ge 30/70 or Humulin 30/70.
