Reps will be promoting Zyflo CR, a new extended-release drug for chronic asthma...starting this fall.
Zyflo CR (zileuton) is similar to montelukast (Singulair) and zafirlukast (Accolate)...but more expensive.
Zyflo never caught on because it's dosed QID...requires frequent blood tests...and it can increase theophylline and warfarin levels.
