Medicaid will phase in new requirements for tamper-resistant Rxs.
Medicaid is doing this to save $200 million over 5 years...by reducing fraud and abuse from forged prescriptions.
Starting April 1, any Medicaid Rx given to a patient must have at least ONE tamper-resistant feature.
