Phenytoin (Dilantin, etc) Rxs often cause confusion...due to many available dosage forms and complex dosing for this seizure med.
In outpatient pharmacies, Rxs are usually for the phenytoin capsules, tablets, or the liquid suspension.
These forms aren't the same and can't be interchanged.
