You'll see a new antibiotic eyedrop, Besivance (besifloxacin).
It's similar to Vigamox (moxifloxacin) and Zymar (gatifloxacin).
These are good for serious eye infections or preventing an infection after eye surgery...but they're overkill for conjunctivitis or "pink eye."
