Hemocode test for food intolerance
Patients are hearing misleading claims about the Hemocode test for food intolerance.
Hemocode tests for "antibodies" against 250 different foods and additives. It's supposed to tell patients if they're intolerant to certain foods...nuts, fruits, grains, etc.
Patients using the Hemocode system will prick their finger to get a blood sample. The sample will be sent off to a laboratory...and results will be returned about 10 days later.
