Nebulizer solutions (salbutamol, ipratropium, etc) are still causing confusion...due to multiple strengths, days' supply, etc.

Product selection. Watch strengths and volumes closely. For example, salbutamol nebulizer solutions come in 1.25, 2.5, and 5 mg per 2.5 mL nebules...and 50 mg per 10 mL bottle.

Expect to dispense sterile 0.9% saline with CONCENTRATED solutions (salbutamol 5 mg/mL, etc). These must be diluted before use.
