Onreltea (on-REL-tee-ah, brimonidine), a new topical gel for treating rosacea
You'll soon see Onreltea (on-REL-tee-ah, brimonidine), a new topical gel for treating rosacea.
Onreltea works by constricting blood vessels under the skin to reduce facial redness. But its effects only last about 12 hours...and it doesn't help with the papules and pustules associated with rosacea.
Expect patients to use Onreltea in combination with metronidazole (Metrogel, etc), azelaic acid (Finacea), or other topical rosacea meds.
