Check if Patients Getting Vaccines Are on Immunosuppressants

We're getting questions about using vaccines in patients on immunosuppressive drugs (methotrexate, prednisone, Humira, etc).

Vaccines are especially important for patients taking immunosuppressants...since these meds can weaken the immune system and make patients more vulnerable to infection.

But "inactivated" vaccines, such as Tdap or hep B, may not work as well in patients on immunosuppressants...since their immune system may not react enough to the vaccine to build up immunity.
