Stay Alert for Patients on Hep C Meds Reporting High or Low Blood Sugars
Health Canada is warning about possible blood sugar changes in patients who take certain hep C meds.
The concern is with newer hepatitis meds called "direct-acting antivirals"...such as Epclusa, Maviret, and Zepatier.
There are reports of patients having low or high blood glucose levels or developing diabetes while taking these meds.
