Stay Alert for Tendon Problems With Aromatase Inhibitors
Health Canada is warning about the risk of tendon disorders with aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole, exemestane, letrozole).
Product monographs for these meds already caution about the risk of tendon sheath inflammation (tenosynovitis) of the hands.
Now the warning will be expanded to include the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture...affecting upper and lower limbs.
