The American Heart Assoc and the College of Cardiology now recommend low-molecular-weight heparin for unstable angina and non-Q-wave heart attacks.
They consider it an alternative to unfractionated heparin.
In general, there's increasing use of the low-molecular-weight heparins...Lovenox (enoxaparin), Innohep (tinzaparin), Fraxiparine (nadroparin), and Fragmin (dalteparin).
