There's a lot of interest in using Wellbutrin SR (bupropion) for adults with ADHD.
Bupropion is sometimes used for ADHD in children because it can help improve symptoms by boosting dopamine and norepinephrine. Now it appears to be beneficial for ADULTS, too.
Some physicians like to use bupropion instead of a stimulant. It's not a controlled drug...and has less potential for abuse.
