new Alzheimer's drug, Reminyl
Janssen-Ortho is now marketing a new Alzheimer's drug, Reminyl (galantamine)...a cholinesterase inhibitor derived from daffodil bulbs.
Reminyl will be used as an alternative to Aricept or Exelon.
It's being promoted as the only cholinesterase inhibitor that also enhances the release of acetylcholine...and might have a greater effect on learning and memory.
