You can now get Viread (VEER-ee-ad), the ONCE-DAILY antiretroviral drug...from Gilead Sciences.

Viread (tenofovir) is the first nucleoTIDE reverse transcriptase inhibitor. It's similar in structure to the nucleoSIDE reverse transcriptase inhibitors...but might be more active.

Viread also appears to have fewer drug interactions, cause fewer side effects, and might be less likely to develop resistance.
