You'll see more patients taking Lyrica (pregabalin).
It's approved for diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. It's also being studied for fibromyalgia, anxiety disorders, and seizure disorders.
Lyrica is similar to gabapentin...in both efficacy and side effects...but Lyrica can be titrated more quickly and sometimes has a faster onset.
