GlaxoSmithKline reps will promote using Avodart (dutasteride) with Flomax (tamsulosin) for an enlarged prostate in men.
Increased prostate size (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH) can cause urinary problems in middle-aged or older men.
Many prescribers already use Avodart or Proscar (finasteride) in combo with meds like Flomax...to improve urinary "flow" and other BPH symptoms.
