Technicians play an important role in preventing unintentional acetaminophen (Tylenol, etc) overdoses.
Acetaminophen to reduce fever and pain is safe at standard doses...less than 4 grams per day in most patients.
But too much can cause BIG problems. It leads to more acute liver failures than almost any other cause.
