the second ONCE-daily gabapentin, Gralise (gra-LEEZ), hit the market
You'll soon see the second ONCE-daily gabapentin, Gralise (gra-LEEZ), hit the market.
Gralise is similar to Horizant...but with a few major differences. Gralise is for nerve pain AFTER an episode of shingles...Horizant is for restless legs syndrome. Gralise comes in 300 mg and 600 mg tablets plus a starter titration pack...Horizant only comes in 600 mg tablets.
Anticipate high co-pays with Gralise...it costs about $180/month compared to $40 for gabapentin immediate-release caps (Neurontin, etc) .
