a new inhaler, Arcapta (indacaterol, ar-CAP-ta), for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
You'll see a new inhaler, Arcapta (indacaterol, ar-CAP-ta), for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Think of Arcapta as similar to Foradil (formoterol). These help keep airways open to PREVENT wheezing, coughing, and other COPD symptoms.
Arcapta even uses the same type of inhaler device as Foradil. Patients must remove the capsule from the blister pack...place it into the inhaler device...close the device to pierce the capsule...then breathe the med into their lungs through the inhaler.
