You'll see a new combo med for hepatitis C called Holkira Pak (hole-KEE-rah, ombitasvir/paritaprevir/ritonavir and dasabuvir).Think of Holkira as an alternative to Harvoni (ledipasvir/sofosbuvir). Both are oral tabs and can be used withOUT interferon.
But Holkira has its downsides. It has a higher pill burden...comes with significantly more drug interactions...has more side effects...and will usually need to be used with ribavirin.
