It combines a new salt form of the ACE inhibitor, perindopril...with the calcium channel blocker (CCB), amlodipine, in one tablet.
Don't expect Viacoram to fly off your shelves. It'll likely be saved for patients under age 65 who need more than one blood pressure lowering med...and may be at risk for adherence problems.
