Akynzeo (ah-KIN-zee-oh) is a new ORAL antiemetic to prevent chemo-induced nausea and vomiting.

It combines 300 mg of netupitant plus 0.5 mg of palonosetron (Aloxi) in one capsule.

The two meds work differently to prevent nausea and vomiting...plus the netupitant component helps boost the antiemetic effects of palonosetron.
