Ubrelvy (ubrogepant) will be a new oral med to treat acute migraine in adults.

It’s the first med in a new drug class called “gepants.”

Expect Ubrelvy to be saved for when patients don’t respond to, or can’t take, triptans (sumatriptan, etc)...especially since it will likely cost more than triptans.
