You'll hear a lot about a new drug to treat Alzheimer's called Aricept (donepezil). Pfizer is introducing it now in the U.S...they also plan to market it in Canada.
Aricept is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It inhibits the breakdown of acetylcholine...so more of the neurotransmitter is available for memory and learning.
