Watch for Oral Antibiotics That Should Be Avoided During Pregnancy
Which ORAL antibiotics are okay to take during pregnancy?
Many commonly used antibiotics are safe.
For example, it's generally okay for pregnant women to take penicillins (amoxicillin, etc) or cephalosporins (cephalexin, etc). The same goes for clindamycin, azithromycin, or a short course of metronidazole.
