Add Aorta Blood Vessel Ruptures to the List of Quinolone Concerns
Ruptures or tears in the aorta blood vessel are the latest risk with quinolone antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, etc).

One theory suggests that quinolones may disrupt connective tissues in the aorta...possibly leading to vessel wall damage and aortic rupture.
