Some reps are creating confusion over the risk of myopathy with Zocor (simvastatin) and other statins.
This stems from changes in the U.S. labelling for Zocor, which now contains more info about the risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis.
For example, the new labelling says not to exceed 20 mg/day of Zocor in patients taking amiodarone or verapamil.
